Charles Sans Crainte is the Vice President of Generation. He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Michigan. Sans Crainte joined Dairyland in 1971 as power plant engineer. He has also served as manager of communications, relaying & controls; and director of electrical engineering. He was promoted to assistant general manager, transmission in February 1990. He served as the president and CEO of GEN~SYS Energy from July 1997 through May 2005. He became the Vice President of Generation in 1999. Sans Crainte is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He also has acted as an industry advisor of the University of Minnesota Center of Electric Energy. |
