Chisago to Apple River Project

Dairyland Power Cooperative, together with Xcel Energy, is working to bolster the electrical system in western Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin by upgrading existing power lines and substations, and constructing some new lines in the area between Chisago County, Minn., and Polk County, Wis.

Construction of the transmission line is scheduled from mid-February through the end of 2010. The project encompasses 25 miles of transmission line between St. Croix Falls and Range, Wis.
